CHarts Careers  - Transforming arts students' approach to college and career paths

Mrs. Sherry Lenich and Dr. Judy Durocher have collaborated to offer a unique process to guide high school students through the rapidly changing world of college and career choices. We provide a process for students to follow and we hold them accountable for completing tasks, reducing stress for the students and their families. We currently offer two groups.  Contact: 480-650-2089

1) P.A.C.E. - Pathways to Arts and Career Exploration

This course is designed to help high school freshman, sophomores, and juniors with college and career exploration.  Students who enroll in this course meet monthly in a small-group setting during their junior year to explore who they are, who they want to become, and how to manage time and finances. We guide them through a process to narrow down career and college choices. Eight 2 hr sessions at a cost of $60/session.  Minimum enrollment required.  Contact: 480-650-2089 to enroll.

2) S.T.E.P.S. - Steps To Engineer Personal Success

This course is designed to help high school seniors with the process of selecting, visiting, and applying to colleges, securing audition appointments, and preparing for video-taped and live auditions.  We supervise students in a series of one hour coaching sessions during the Fall of their senior year. We also guide them regarding financial considerations for college including scholarship applications and financial aid where needed.
